a Woman in the Program
In Luke 10:29-36, when the Good Samaritan
became involved in the life of the wounded man in the
ditch, he committed himself to the man’s
total recovery. We ask sponsors to commit themselves
to the woman they are sponsoring by bringing her to
the Refuge Ranch, aiding her while she is here, and
helping her when she is ready to leave. Aftercare
is often the most neglected area of regeneration.
The following are some helpful suggestions when sponsoring
a woman:
 Pray for the woman and her family
daily.- Send her necessary toiletries.
- Keep in contact with the woman’s
family.
- Help the woman readjust after she
graduates. Your involvement may greatly influence
her success.
- Before approaching the woman about
a job, we suggest you contact a program counselor
and ask about the woman’s readiness to leave
the program.
